Universal joint with quick change connection

This type of connection allows quick installation and/or removal of the joint. The joint is fixed axially with two balls. The transmission of the torque is done by means of a keyway or a hexagon.

 

The flange and cover design make the installation of the joint easier if the shafts can not be pushed towards each other axially, or if that is too laborious.
